What are your standard check in and check out times?
Guests may check in from 14:00 onward, and check-out is by 11:00.
Do you offer early check in or late check out?
Yes. If you arrive before check-in time, we can store your luggage while you make use of the guesthouse facilities. We will notify you as soon as your room is ready. Late check-out may be available subject to availability and an additional fee. Please contact management in advance to arrange this.
How far is the nearest airport?
Ikhaya Safari Lodge is approximately 25 minutes from Cape Town International Airport by car. Airport transfers can be arranged at an additional cost—please contact management for assistance.
Is breakfast included?
No, breakfast is available as an optional extra at ZAR 250 per adult per day and ZAR 125 per child per day. Breakfast is served daily from 8:00 am to 10:00 am and includes a selection of baked goods, pastries, cheeses, yoghurts, fresh fruit salad, and a hot à la carte option. Coffee, tea, and juice are also provided. Guests with dietary requirements are encouraged to inform management in advance.
Do you have free WiFi?
Yes. Complimentary high-speed WiFi is available throughout the guesthouse. Guests can connect easily by scanning the QR code provided in their room or at reception.
Are there any restaurants close by?
Yes. Ikhaya Safari Lodge is ideally located in the heart of Constantia, close to a variety of award-winning restaurants, cafés, and wine estates. Popular nearby dining options include La Colombe, Chefs Warehouse at Beau Constantia, Foxcroft, and Jonkershuis. Our team will be happy to assist with recommendations and reservations.

Ikhaya Safari Lodge is ideally situated close to some of Cape Town’s most popular attractions, including the Constantia Wine Valley, Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden, Table Mountain, Camps Bay Beach, and the V&A Waterfront. Guests can also explore nearby hiking and nature trails, golf courses, and shopping centres. Reception can assist with personalised recommendations and tour arrangements.
Do you have on-site parking?
Yes. Secure complimentary parking is available on site.
Are children welcome on the property?
Yes. Children must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times, especially around the swimming pool and high decking. Ikhaya Safari Lodge will not be held responsible for any accidents or injuries that may occur due to lack of supervision.
Is smoking allowed on the property?
Yes. Smoking is permitted in designated outdoor areas only. Due to the lodge’s thatched roof, smoking is strictly prohibited in all rooms and indoor spaces. Guests are kindly requested to use the ashtrays provided.
Am I allowed to bring my pet?
No. We regret that pets are not permitted at the lodge.
What are the quiet hours?
To ensure the comfort of all our guests and maintain good relations with our neighbours, loud music, gatherings, or any form of disruptive behaviour is strictly prohibited after 22:00 PM and before 08:00 AM. Guests who fail to comply with this policy may be asked to leave the property without a refund.
What payment methods do you accept?
Ikhaya Safari Lodge is a cashless establishment. We accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express cards, as well as electronic bank transfers.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellation fees apply based on the notice period provided before arrival. Charges range from a 10% administration fee for cancellations made more than 30 days in advance, up to 100% of the booking value for cancellations within 7 days of arrival, no-shows, or early departures.
